1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you complete a form on the Site, email us or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, company or listing name, the capacity in which you are contacting us, a revenue range, the contents of your message and any other information you choose to share, including information about a business you own or represent.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring website, pages viewed, time spent on pages, the date and time of your visit and your approximate location derived from your IP address.
Information from other sources. We may receive information about you from business brokers, advisors and other intermediaries who introduce a business to us, and from publicly available sources.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
respond to your inquiries and communicate with you, including by email and, where you have agreed, by text message;
evaluate whether a business fits our acquisition criteria and pursue, negotiate and complete a potential transaction;
send you follow-up communications and updates related to your inquiry;
operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site and understand how visitors use it;
comply with applicable law, regulation and legal process, and enforce our Terms of Use; and
carry out any other purpose disclosed to you when the information is collected or with your consent.
3. Cookies and Analytics
The Site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, which uses cookies to collect information about how visitors use the Site. 4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share information:
with service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, email, customer relationship management, marketing automation and analytics, who are permitted to use the information only to provide those services to us;
with our attorneys, accountants and other professional advisors, and, in connection with evaluating or completing a potential transaction, with lenders and capital partners, in each case subject to obligations of confidentiality;
when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, regulation or legal process, or is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of Cobalira or others;
in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business, subject to customary confidentiality protections; and
with your consent or at your direction.
5. Confidential Business Information
We treat information about a business that you send us in connection with a potential transaction as confidential. Detailed financial statements and customer information should be shared only after a non-disclosure agreement is signed. Where a non-disclosure agreement between you and Cobalira conflicts with this Privacy Policy, the non-disclosure agreement controls.

7. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including evaluating and completing transactions, maintaining business records and complying with our legal obligations, and then delete or de-identify it.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
