Why We Started Cobalira
When you’ve built a company yourself, you know a sale is about more than the price, because the people who work there and the customers who count on it are part of the deal too. Cobalira exists for owners who want a buyer that keeps the business, runs it and is still there in year 10.
We’ve run companies through good years and hard ones, so before we buy a business we ask whether it can carry its people, its customers and its obligations through its worst stretch and keep going. We only buy a company we can commit to keeping, because a permanent owner that buys the wrong business has no exit to hide behind.
